  • Services will be provided in your home. Services can also be provided in your child's daycare or private school with the permission of the facility.

  • In order to ensure that the treatment plan created is the most appropriate and effective, an evaluation is required to begin therapy. If you do not have an evaluation already, Sweet Peach Speech is able to provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations.

  • We provide services to children birth-13 years old.

  • Providing therapy in-home is a child's most natural environment. It creates as safe and familiar environment that nurtures children's comfort and confidence during sessions. By utilizing a familiar space, we can reduce anxiety and promote a sense of security for children, ultimately fostering an atmosphere where they can grow. Therapists can observe the child's interactions and communication in their everyday setting to provide a more comprehensive understanding of their needs and progress. Parents also have the opportunity to watch and learn from sessions, increasing their involvement in their child's development.

  • Therapy is typically one to two sessions per week depending on each child's unique needs.

  • Yes! Parents are encouraged to watch sessions if they choose to. This gives parents the opportunity to gain insight into the specific strategies and exercises used by the therapist and empowerment to replicate them on their own.

  • In a parent coaching session, the therapist would work directly with the parent in their home, demonstrating and guiding practical techniques to support the child's communication development. This might involve modeling specific strategies during daily routines, such as mealtimes or play, and offering real-time feedback as the parent practices these techniques with their child. The therapist would focus on creating a supportive, interactive environment, emphasizing the holistic integration of speech therapy into everyday activities and ensuring that the parent feels confident in continuing these practices independently. The session would also include discussing progress, addressing any concerns, and setting goals tailored to the child’s unique needs within their natural home setting.
